MLA Style

Modern Languages Association (MLA) style is one of several styles for academic citation. It is used in the humanities, especially English.

 

Format

MLA uses a Works Cited page at the end of your paper, and in-text parenthetical citations.

MLA is on its 8th edition of style guidelines. The handbook and Quick Guide below are for the 8th edition.
