Celebrate Disability Pride Month with Raugust Library

orange tile, black text reading Disability Pride MonthJuly is Disability Pride Month! This celebration month commemorates the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in July of 1990. The month celebrates the identities, culture, and contributions of persons with disabilities; seeks to end the stigma around disability; and encourages us to rethink how we define "disability."
