The Costume Institute's collection of more than 33,000 costumes and accessories represents five continents and seven centuries of fashionable dress, regional costumes, and accessories for men, women, and children, from the fifteenth century to the present.

Presented by Special Collections at the University of Calgary, this digital collection features a selection of opera, stage play, ballet, and film costume and design dating back to the mid-nineteenth century.
