Find Plays

Plays in Print

Search the library catalog for plays by either the playwright or the title

Browse the stacks upstairs in the 812s for plays by American authors and 822s for plays by English authors (822.33 and nearby for Shakespeare, specifically).

Plays Online

Search LitFinder's Advanced Search or Works Search (if you know the name of the play you're trying to find). Both searches have a Type of Work filter with options like libretto, play, play collection, screenplay, and more.

Find Monologues & Scenes

Search the catalog

Raugust Library owns a number of items containing monologues and scenes. Search the catalog using Advanced Search.

Change the first drop down menu to Subject and enter the term monologue. Don't forget to make sure that the radio button for UJ Libraries is selected along the top of the search box.
