In this section, you'll find:

• Instructions for accessing Micromedex mobile apps using our UJ subscription

1. Download the app from your preferred app store.

Search for "Micromedex" in your app store. As of Summer 2025 there is only one Micromedex app (rather than separate apps for different tools), so look for the one from a company called "Merative L.P." and install it. 

If you have older versions of Micromedex apps, delete them from your phone.

2. Open the app while on UJ wi-fi.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you're on UJ wi-fi the first time you open the app to activate it. This will ensure that your access is associated with our UJ subscription.

When you open the app, an activation code will be generated for you. Copy that code and click on the "Activate Now" button.

On the next screen, if the code hasn't automatically copied into the next screen, paste the code into the activation code box. Click on "Activate Device" and you will be automatically logged into our UJ subscription.

Once you are activated, you should be able to use the app on-campus on UJ wi-fi and off-campus.

Once you have Micromedex open, click on Mobile Application Access in the upper right corner. Expand the first section on that page, called Micromedex Mobile App Access (Included with subscription).
